Free radical damage is being investigated as a cause of many types of cancers. Lipoic Acid and Biotin research suggests that lipoic acid increases the need for biotin by lowering levels of biotin dependent enzymes. This is due to the structural similarities between lipoic acid and biotin. For this reason, all ASHFI lipoic acid products will now contain biotin at no additional cost.
